2021 Season Announcement

Hello Fellow Earthlings!

With spring making itself known, and Seattle moving much of its activity outside, we know a lot of people are wondering: "when will Hello Earth and Wars Outdoors return?"

We are definitely excited about the final act in our trilogy and eager to bring Jabba the Hutt, the Ewoks, and Nien Nunb to life. However, we've thought long and hard about the choices we are asking cast, crew, and audience to make and have decided that we will NOT be presenting an outdoor, in person show this summer.

We know this is a disappointment, and believe us, it's a difficult thing to have to decide. But given the time required to put a show like ours on, we are typically beginning our process now. Doing so would by necessity force our partners to make decisions for themselves and their loved ones' safety that are not necessary for a labor of love like ours. Additionally, with numbers still rising in many parts of the country, we cannot responsibly make a decision now about how conditions will be in July and August, and therefore, cannot plan adequately without endangering the show.

Thank you for being with us on this journey, and for taking care of each other this past year. We will be back as soon as we can, and we hope you'll be on the look out for 2022's Return (at last!) of the Jedi as well as any other scaled-down events we might produce in the meantime.

Joy DeLyria and Kris Hambrick, producers

  6. Well, good to hear that season announcement from yours. Definitely like your other fans I am also excited about your shows but I completely understand that it all depends on the COVID condition and your board management how they will decide further for your shows but I believe that your fans are with you and supporting you completely in this challenging time.

  8. It’s nearly impossible to find well-informed people in this particular topic,
but you sound like you know what you’re talking about!
